We all took Lieber's death hard. Ian was most concerned that we would forget her.  Even though I constantly tell him that we would never forget her...he still doesn't believe me. :-)  So what I told him what we would do is make a list of all the little things that she did and things we loved about her...so just incase we did forget...we would have a reminder.

She liked ice cream from the drive through at Dairy Queen. -Ian

One day Lieber and Monty were in the basement on the couch, and their tails made a heart shape.-Ian

Lieber would rip open stuffed animals and stuffing would get stuck on her tongue.-Ian

She liked to lick your feet.-Ian

Lieber liked to roll around in the grass and the snow.-Ian

If it was hot outside, Lieber would go outside and lay down on the patio where it was cool.-Ian

Lieber and I were playing tug-of-war and she pulled me across the room.-Ian

Lieber loved ice cream, and soon as you opened the freezer and took it out she was at the island wanting for her scoopful. She also knew the certain way the spoon scrapped in the bowl when you would finish and she would come up to you for the bowl. -Michelle

I took the dogs the wherever I went in the car.  When I would come back to the parking lot Montana would always be in the drivers seat and Lieber in the passenger seat. I can't tell you how many times people said to me, "It looks like yellow one is driving the black one around."-Michelle

Walking Lieber and Ian in his stroller at the same time.-Michelle

Her climbing up the stairs to the kids swing set and going down the slide.-Michelle

Liebers vocabulary

We have words in our house that we made up just for Lieber.

Ram tough-She would shove her nose in your leg  or whatever if she wanted something. If you opened the treat cabinet she would ram tough the kind of treat she wanted.

The Sammer- when she would wait for a treat or for you to throw her toy and get excited her front two legs would just up and down like crazy, Brian and I would call her Sammer after Sammy Davis Jr.

Lieber- Lieber became a replacement for black in our house, if we saw a black squirrel it would be a Lieber squirrel.

Flea biting- she would have this kind of constant nibble she would do to you.  We would pin the kids down and have her do it to the kids socks and she would just kind of tickle their feet.........then of course pull the sock off and run with it.
